I am based in Squamish, BC and have been guiding for 16 years. I am proud to be one of the few internationally certified female mountain guides. My style is to empower my guests to reach new heights using technical skill, self confidence, and great preparation. I believe that mountains help us to heal, grow, and push through our limitations.
The mountains have been my vehicle for growth and self discovery. I have guided expeditions on Denali, Aconcagua, and numerous places between. I have done first ascents in South Africa, Wyoming, and Canada. I have climbed El Capitan six times and became the first female to solo the Grand Traverse alone in a day less than six months after losing half of my left lung. I was part of the first all female ski descent of the Grand Teton and have done first descents of couloirs in the Rockies and the Waddington Range. I climb because I need to find courage by facing the moments in the mountains that are insecure or unknown. I seek to find what happens when we push through fear, pain, or self-limiting thoughts and risk being great.
